i want to put a volvo speedo bin with a rev counter in my 340 1.7 will it just connect straight up and does any1 have 1

Nah, DL's, GL's before an F plate and unbadged (i.e. rebranded DL's) didn't get rev counters as standard!

AFAIK if it's a VDO cluster, which it must be to be a 1.7, so a Mk3 300, not an early Smiths cluster, then it should just replace the clock and the connections will be there that end. Not so sure about the other end, but I believe that is already wired up too. If not it's pretty simple from what I've heard.
