G reg. Volvo 340 1989 (1.7 engine) – in Truro, Cornwall.

White - 3 door.

Quite a lot of Service History (including original bill) – Sticker on the cambelt suggests changed at 87,000 or somewhere around there (if I remember correctly!)

Tax = End of April 07.

MOT = End of April 07 (Have honestly no idea if it will pass!) as only owned by us since January 07. Definitely needs a new front wiper (split) and brake light with a bad earth needs fixing.

Excellent engine - only loses a very small amount of water now and again around town on short drives and a drop of oil every 3 to 4 weeks. However, recently drove from Cornwall to Liverpool and back without losing a drop. NO blue or white smoke!!! - Very quiet engine-purrs on the motorway.

Propshaft possibly loose underneath (banging a bit when idling – but not always) and diff. could possibly do with oil/tightening/new gasket as it's a bit oily/gunky on the casing.

3/4 of the exhaust is very good and silver/newish looking apart from backbox, which is a lot older and has a small hole in the tailpipe and will need replacing soonish. Doesn't blow much though.

Very tidy bodywork apart from rear wheel arch rust on driver’s side - filled with filler and very small amount of rust on front of bonnet (easily fixed). Apart from that – no dents on the whole car.

Clutch bites a little high on the pedal – but all gears select easily and clutch does not slip at all.

Bit of play in the steering but not majorly - pulls to the right a little with no hands on wheel.

Looks completely clean and solid underneath with no welding and no orange rusty appearance at all.

Very clean and tidy interior (all in tact) and all electrics working (apart from heated seats possibly).

Too good to send to a scrap yard. I am selling for a friend from his address (as per V5 document, which is present). We only bought it for him as a cheap runaround while his main car was off the road for a while for some MOT repairs.

£250 ono and its yours to collect - Loads of good parts on it for spares, or ideal to put in for MOT and see if anything needs doing or not.
