Hi everybody.

thought i'd post and say hi bought my first 340 last night its an '89 1.7 4 door. full service history , absolutely imaculate, and got it for £365. Bargin!!

I have some plans like alloys and lowering but nothing too out there.

and also a few questions.

1. will golf alloys fit with out a problem?
2. where can i get soem clear front indicators?
3. what kind of fuel economy, do they give back if driven normally?

1: Yes, but the offset might be a bit high, the space in the fenders are huge, and made for low offset wheels :wink:

2: I know the Swedish 300 club is selling some custom made ones, but they are not so cheap.

3: Pretty good, i have a 360 (2,0l) and i am happy with the fuel economy.

Most people here probably think that's a lot of money for a 300, but if the car is in good shape, it is indeed a bargain in the long run.

Huskyracer has a set of Golf alloys for drag racing, so at least some versions fit ok.

http://www.radicast.net/usd/index1usd.html for clear indicator lenses for the front. Note that this is a) not cheap, and b) not a bolt-in.....but we should be grateful for getting some aftermarket support!
