Given that you are now a moderator for the 300 series section on the VOC forums I take it you will now be resigning as a moderator on this forum.........?

And are you actually capable of growing a beard..........?

Nah... it'll just go from advice on polishing to advice on keeping an engine in the kitchen ;)

Just pulling your leg buddy, congrats!

I'm not going anywhere!

Any ideas on subjects you'd like to appear in the articles?
I was thinking about a 'how to' on those vinyl strips on the leading edge of the rear wheelarch...;) (That's an in-joke, for non-VOC members)

cheers

How about how to clean out wheel arches :P

Seriously though, well done mate :D

Of course to formally become the full register keeper you now have to grow an enourmous beard :)

You're right Capt Fog I'm not a fan of said carbs but congratulations on your new position, are you taking over from Ted?

I'd say things for a register keepers bit would be problems that you've had, or one of us, that could help a poor sod at some point. I.e. holding the razor flat instead of a 45 degree angle, the average beardy won't need it very often, but when he does... he knows he's read it somewhere!

I dunno, just small things that wouldn't need a technical article, maybe parts availibilty both hard to get and places to check too?

James,

from experiance the first article tends to be purly an introduction.

After that I would go with the common problems like air leaks, fuse box, leaking diff, 360 fuel tank pipes, wheel nuts, rust etc.

I bet mac would be willing to help out with bits on the vario trans etc.

It would also be nice to see some coverage of modded 340 inc drift cars turbo conversions etc.

I'm sure you will find pleanty of things to waffle on about

Awesome points there Dai, all would be things I'd find interesting in a report. Anything that shares the wealth and makes someone else's life easier, especially the wheel bolts from rally design type of thing.
