WANTED: Speedo Cable - VDO

Anyone know a source for these? Do Volvo still make them?

My 360's speedo has been bouncing around for a while, and has now stopped completely... :lol: :roll:

Yeah, me too, they still make them. A gentle reminder about the drive at the same time helps, the new drive do dah is a matter of pence, so I got one anyway.

Hmm... VADIS is showing the VDO part number to be 3205803

Could anyone confirm whether Mick's cable would be suitable for my 87 car with VDO instrumentation? On first glances it might not be :(

3211818 is the one I have on the shelf here, and identical to the other one I had and fitted to Fake as I checked the ends. It's the lastest one currently availible at the dealers, and *shouldn't* need the new drive... but no promises. I didn't anyway, the new drive didn't match, old one did.

Any chance you can take a picture of each ends and the total length of the cable steve, as in my box of Volvo spares i got, i have a speedo cable, but no part number, it may be of use to someone here if its identified as a 300 part.
