Lowered springs

Post by Ozbrick »

Hi all! I want a set of lowered springs for my 360 GLT a la AVO/PK. I can't order from europerformance.co.uk and AVO Australia says they can't get em.

So if anyone has an old pair or has upgraded from lowered springs to coilovers and needs to get rid of their old gear I'm all ears...and moneys too! 8)

Here in aus i struggled to find anything, but i found a local spring bloke can make up a custom set for $120, he needs a few measurments and another spring to work off, i've just aquired a spare spring, so i'll be getting some done in a few weeks.

for the rear most people seem to think that lowering bloks and spax adjustable shocks are sufficient.

There is a guy in brisbane who is prepping a 360 for rallying and he is just using re-setting them at a different height, but I was hoping there was just a plug and play set, like the AVO's which are only ~$120 a set... The guy at gabriel shock said there was a police pack available too.

Hi guys,
Aurora springs (which are based in Adelaide and across AUS) are going to make me a lowered stiffer set of front springs and a beefed up rear leaf spring lowered for $420 all up. Once it is complete it will be registered in their technical database and anyone will be able to order it.

You can also ask for a spray in any colour, aurora's default is aqua blue, but any colour is available.

How much stiffer are they going to make the fronts, i think i have heard of people running springs 2-3 times stiffer than stock.

do you have seperate prices for front and rears?

Fronts $189

Rears $231 ,

It would be easier if we had a spare set to send to them as they only take 1 day for spec and 1 day to make, but they will be off the car when getting manufactured. At the moment I'm just going on the specs that V3M has provided and I calculated the rear spring to be 22.01kN/m.

I took the car in to be checked by a suspension joint, found out the springs were cut, so I still need to get new ones to do the lowering jobbie!!
