Hey All,
Was driving along the other day and started to feel a knocking when ever i went over a bump, so i got investigating and found that the beam which connects the the engine to the engine mounts was cracked(dunno its name but heres a pic)
and heres the crack
sorry for poor pics had to use my phone.
Any how we managed to get it welded back to form but didnt know whether there were meant to be bolts which connect it to the engine as there were none to be found
this pic may explain a bit better
Any help is much appreciated as we could only get one of the holes to line up and are confused, also anyone have any of these spare??

Erm, looking at the angle of those mounts, that bar was engine side of the mounts wasn't it....
I can't remember there being a bar engine side, the mounts go straight into the casting from memory
The car side of the mounts should look like this

my cars have had the same mount, on each b14.4e i'll try and see where it mounts for you baz.

Yeah, I just couldn't remember my B14 having that bar

That engine bay is 20mins after a B14 came out, so I'm guessing the bar must still have been attached to the block, and memory is playing tricks on me but I was sure the holes were in the block casting.

update, the whole bar snapped today so i really need one of these bars or a idea of how to get around as a temp fix so i can get the car to my mates?
Any ideas Guys?
