Oil and brake warning lights

Hey guys

Got a weird one here, since doing a full service, oil change and filters, the cars oil and brake warning lights come on after a long trip, but only when i turn the engine off, when the car is running there off but when the ignition is on there on, i cant understand why?

Any ideas?

p.s this has only started happening since the service and doest happen when the cars been left for a while.

arent the lights ment to come on when the ign is turned on? to test the bulbs etc .. and the fact oil presure is indeed low when ign on engine off. i really can't remember properly (havent used the car for ages) im sure its nothing serious, someone will surly know?

Did you use a Volvo filter i.e. is there a non-return valve in the oil filter? The oil pressure will go down much faster without that... Not sure how that would affect the brake warning light though

The lights should definitely be on with the ignition. I think you've fixed a problem rather than created one.

I guess the car must be on the mend or something lol, doesn't always appear tho which is strange, maybe a loose connection or something.
