Depends on whether I can get out of a prior engagement that day, also on what the MOT tester has to say on Monday.

Yep, getting close - so will post final details here:
Sunday 16th December 10am, Poole's Cavern... click
here for directions.
Will find some pubs in the local area for some food after we've done the cavern. Pete, if you're coming from the south, fancy meeting up somewhere?
EDIT: How about the Cat and Fiddle near Buxton for food/drink? It's approximately 4 miles away from Poole's Cavern. Not sure how busy this could get on a Sunday though...

Well if the weather's not terrible then I'll be going via south manchester (M60, A6, etc) and then over the cat & fiddle...
If the weather is terrible... I'll be doing the same, but like a granny!
I'm up for a convoy!
PM me your number (or grab mine off facebook) and we'll arrange something!

It's looking partially likely I'll be there! MOT booked for Friday, so depending upon the outcome of that I should be there. So if I'm going to be there, then yeah meeting up on the way would be good Steve, I think Mickt was interested in a convoy too, as I'd be joining him at MK. I've not consulted a map yet, but I'd imagine this could all come together nicely!

The Cat & Fiddle is a spectacular drive, but we'll need to be pretty careful if it's as cold as it is at present. The pub itself is usable...but I'm not 100% sure that they do food. Worth checking. I know a few pubs who'll sort us out if all else fails.
cheers

Morning folks, in the Hilton Park Services at the moment, spoke to Mickt a little while ago, he's on his way, he'd stopped at a services on the M6 somewhere for a coffee. Should be meeting SteveP here soon, then onwards in convoy. We'll hang about until 8:45 in case anyone else show's up.
Should be a really good day.
The reason I was still up this morning, was as a last minute thing I decided the drive units on the vario were leaking and needed an oil level check. So in the freezing cold and dark I decided to check those. Changed the primary drive unit oil as I couldn't find a level through the filler hole and from memory it was a slightly different grade of oil in there from what I had on the shelf.
*Edit Just spoken to Mickt, he's going to meet us at junction 11 now, so we'll be leaving here in a little while when Steve arrives.
