Nice win! Bargain like. I'll find out the length of bolts that are needed. two different lengths, i know that much. Might be quicker to ask Dai, as i wont be able to have a look until i have some free time, pos Friday?

Looking good! Amazing to see the rear camber on the wheels when they've been swapped. Pretty aggressive. Can't tell on the standard steels, but like yours, when I put the 9js on, its pretty agro! I'll get the bolt lengths for you tomorrow too dude. :D

Yeah the C/A is pretty rude, I might be getting some springs off Jay so my car could be going low sooner than I thought

Ok so last night my dad said to me i can either keep my mk2 or have the mk3 and sell mine.
mk2 340 pros: its a mk2 , cheaper on petrol, bit cheaper insurance, im attached to it, slightly better condition, sounds and looks bit more 80's and i like the look of mk2 more.
mk3 glt pros: Faster, heated seats, fog lights

So after all of that ive decided to keep my mk2, also in august im hoping to get one of my dads customers mk2 360 gls in silver cause its running out of mot so im planning on doing work on it till Jan/feb when my insurance runs out on the 340 then have the 360 and put the 340 in the garage and plonk a valver in it over time time.

PLAN!

Apart from the 1.8 being much closer to weight to the 1.7, so less chance of props going and less need to make custom stuff.

The 2.0 has much more feel of power though. It surprises me to this day when I give it some boot. Especially 3rd gear at over 2 grand :D :D :D (Major win on country lanes)

1.8 is raspier but doesn't feel as powerful. If you're going to the trouble of dropping one in you may as well do a 2.0.
