MJ stop being tight and join the VOC... AND drive there - your car WILL win! Surely it's worth that

Anyone know where the BKV will be held this year?

It'd be good to see you John. Shame you can't bring HUG, but then it'd be a shame to have it shown up by the (unjustified, shed-like, rusty, badly painted...) winner of the 300 series category at the BKV last year
Bitch, bitch, bitch !!
Not being a bitch myself of course, but can we just decide now who's taking the green can for James on route to Rutland Water ? ! I don't want any 'fallings out' when we all rush out of the car park to assist !
Look forward to seeing you all there - might even see one of you on the h/s near Derby (slap hands !) lol !
TTFN,
John

after not being able to attend the last three V3M meetings Ive been keeping the 12th of march completely free!!
however, my best mate just got engaged and after a few days has announced the engagement party in birmingham on.... you guessed it.... the 12th of march
friends engagement or volvos@donington park???
well... we are god enough friends that I told him....
sorry mate.... volvo meeting!!!
PS the 480 was launched at donington park for dealers way back in 1986.....Ive got a DVD of it... is soooooo 1980's... not surprising as it was made in the 80s so its quite a laugh to watch..
I'll look into making copies for the meet for people maybe?
the video has Steve Rider from BBC grandstand... and also Derek Bell....
that last bit is kinda interesting as he now races for volvo in a 500bhp S60R in america....
see you soon guys!!!

I know Steve's car has that lovely 1980s stripe down one side, but really Mick....calling it a POS is a bit rich!
Yeah yeah....petrol jokes galore

At least I'll get to the petrol station faster than you lot
cheers

I'd call it a POS myself at the moment - bloody bodykit and rust causing headaches and MOT pending... Damn cars!
EDIT: On that note I doubt I'll be coming, unless I can skive a lift off someone!

I just need to finish some paint and then grafix and maybe put a few more dents into it then hey presto, one realy well loved 240 2.0 GL estae, turned into a really loved and abused 240 2.3 (manual) beasty.
I will be taking her to the BKV I feel and I am in the VOC!!!
So maybe.....
