I sold my Mini Cooper S Clubman and bought this. I can't drive a car if it's too new.
1992 Merc 190E manual with original 146000km, totally original interior, no rust, I likes this ride...

Thread resurection!
my other car is now a 740.
ew, em, ea, pas, hs, tilting drivers seat, radio, headlamp protectors, etc etc etc.
And everything works.
Cheers to Filtyhjohn and his dad for selling me it for less than it costs to fill the tank,
missing trim adds character.

Nice, Ben. I've always liked those cars since they first hit the streets in the 80's.

Thyre really cool.
Not even the slushbox can dampen my enthusiasm.

Slush-box is OK, once you get used to it and stop hitting the brake as if it's a clutch
Means you cruise, easy - with just occasional kick-down madness. Maybe it's just because I'm knocking on 40...

Yep, 'interesting' is one way of describing the body mods - not done by me - but since she's never going to be 'concours' I'm not worried about 'playing'
Unfortunately, she's been stood for a while and despite a lot of tinkering a couple of weeks ago currently won't start
You wanted more pics ... here's a couple:
If you ever visit PPC Mag forum, I started a project thread over there but I've been a bit quiet of late!

Just noticed this. Very nice - early 700 saloons look superb - a bit of missing trim here, a scratch and a dent there, suit these cars right to the ground

Hope it treats you well!

Its got a lot more exterior trim missing now Tom.
I removed the rest to give the car a more even ballance on the twisty roads.
And the added lightness is probably good for anothe 6hp I recon.
