3 Alternator wires, 2 starter wires, CPS, kinglead, 4 hoses, clutch cable, earth strap, both manifolds, 4 engine mount nuts, propshaft. EASY.

I'll help if you decide to do it man, but hell yeah you can see it on the road at some point, we must have a northeast mini-meet.

Not been on here for a few days, sorry to hear about that mate, but i know what yu mean going over bumps and the revs shoot right up. Did you remove the limiter then, or did it just not have one?
Mine cuts in at 7 something, i found out on a roundabout the other night
Oh and what rimages are they, they look sweet.

Carbs dude, I throwed all the wires into the bin, so the only limiter is the strength of the engine!
As for the rims, they're funny ones, stamped DYNA, possibly rotec items I believe. I've had them ages and been itching to get them on a car.

'Ere, what's this thing do? Some sort of oil temp sensor? I noticed the clios have gauges for oil pressure, temp, and even level, and was going to pinch a set, but they disappear into the car loom so I gave up.

Nice one Chris, I wonder if it sends a signal that can be deciphered by a nice smiths gauge. I'd like a combined oil pressure/temp gauge to go in the panel I'm getting from Foggy.

So I can get a gauge set up without having to buy an oil filter sandwich plate? That'd be sweet.

Ah yes my simple mind doesn't equate that carbs = not much wiring/limiter etc.
Good stuff though i'm sure you'll have it turned around quick enough and be back out there giving it beans.

John, stick a multimeter on the terminal and an earth, find a terminal where the resistance varies between 0-180ohms, and wire that to signal in on the gauge.

That's definitely something to do this month.
I've just got back with the new lump, need to get it in before 11am tomorrow so I can drive it to a show. Better get some kip then.

ive got to pull mine, and ive been told no more engines....
so i cant go buy another 16v to drop in while i fix the other one

keep getting told to drop the F3R in, but thats a lot more money than making the 16v run again!
