I always pack a hotwater bottle and teddy bear for bed.

Good for minus 60.

Suggest you try it,Jani.

Ernest Shackleton told me but keep it under your hat

It is no good for outside however and inside of house is warm, problem comes when one must go outside, like into car that is 4 meters from door

Got 8m^3 of firewood so cold weather should not be a problem, for 2-3 months, then again need to get firewood or burn electricity.

At workplace, I need to walk 200 meters to and from the car, it is not fun when clothing is designed for +5C to +10C range, should buy new ones, but hard to find any nearly as good as I had before, so I'm freezing to death everytime when I go outside.

Cats are odd creatures, they manage just fine on that weather and they don't have even socks, just barefoot, weird creatures.

If temp is negative, then it is freezing, we just need to add more adjectives to ahead of freezing to describe proper level of freezing

You all remember to lubricate your locks this year, remember how it was last winter when it was bastardly freezing and you could not get into car, trying to heat key in your palm etc. ? Nobody for sure enjoys from that, well VND might be exception, but anyway get your gunoil ready, it is common practise to lubricate locks before the cold weather starts, much easier that way :D

No snow here yet, just a couple of flurries today. Was going to cash in the tax disk for the 340, but will keep on for a bit yet just in case we get some snow on the ground  Feels very cold (for here) though, log fire burning for a few days now!

My burner's been running since first week of October sm35

Nothing makes me smile more than the annual lack of preperation for winter by UK motorists.

SUV FTW.

Times like these I really miss my Volvo. Or any Volvo for that matter.
