Hanging vapours are not the issue when 1000 kilos of metal slices through the fuel pipes, igniting the fuel instantly due to the heat of the car/spark of metal breaking apart. GCSE science tells you that blowing on a fire makes it worse (with wind bringing fuel in at 5x normal aspiration). Therefore making your death very very cool to watch from a distance. C'mon, stop defending yourself

you seem to think this was near the pumps or pipes, they are 50 yards away from the entrance. I Aapproaced the pumps normally but got onto the forecourt.. enthusiastically.

it was fine, couldnt tell if it bottomed out but it still went in a stright line afterwards, it did bounce about 2 inches or so.. passenger was white as a ghost for days.

the chassis is a near-copy of the early mitsu evo, (RAC rally 1995) they can take a HELL of a beating, truly.

Has nobody noticed the FOOT HIGH KERBS in petrol stations which are there specifically to stop cars hitting pumps?? You'd have to be going at one hell of a speed to even make contact with a pump, let alone damage it. I'm not condoning forecourt drifting, I'm just sick of the Final Destination style apocalyptic visions of fiery death. Get a grip Speedy!

1.4 340 a good fun first car in my book. I may have been 24 when I got mine but it was alot of fun in the winter. Get a tidy one and run it until you can afford to insure a 1.8 16v swap..... Still waiting to find out what mine will go like now!
