If you have fuel and spark, I would start by checking you have compression on number 4.

Ok, I admit that i`m stupid

. The engine runs sweetly now, but how?
I`ve removed the timing belt and all i did was to put no 1 cylinder (behind the timing gears) at it`s lowest position, as it was up high. The rest is history, all cylinders are running, and i`m happy! And frozen!
One more question I have: where can I find a chart with all the producers of spark plugs, as i want to switch to Denso?

Denso? Their budget plugs are terrible, not fit for purpose.. Eg my dads 93 hyundai lantra 1.6 glsi (the one with 7000 redline) came back from a service running like a BOS with densos fitted, having removed one for inspection I found these plugs have moulded electrodes with shards of (very low quality) metal sticking out. Fit volvo plugs or maybe ngk, or bosch. Simply allowing such a ruinous product to be marketed just puts me right off denso. Ten years denso free and loving it.
