Its very good on plastics. And has no flaking in the longrun like paint.

No primer.

Everyones a winner.
Yep.

Done mine about 18 months ago, once. Still jet black (albeit dusty now ). As long as you let it 'harden' before getting it wet then it's a very good - and cheap - long term solution.

I'll have to give this linseed oil a go :D I fondled it earlier, i need to put it away in its box until its ready to come out now apparently. I'll put it beside my brand new 80's ford roof rack 8) 8) 8) I need a sticker that says "covered in all the useless accessories"

Yeah haha, i'm the person that everyone dreams of when selling there rare stuff. If its worth it, i'll buy it rather than knock em down haha. My dad said i should have offered 80quid lmao. I dont quite understand your 'badman' speak, but i think the wheels i've got are pretty rare, not seen many in 4x100 flavour :)

How do you go about applying this oil? just put it on the cloth and rub it in, or is there prep? or layers etc?

Hi mate.
Welcome to the small louvre club.
You can buy rather expensive double sided tape.
Put some of that on around the edges for piece of mind.

Liam, that reminds me, you beat me by 2 quid
I had to wait another couple of months for mine
Cheers Mark.

180 pounds wow ... But brand new and all the fitting bits make a difference - means you don't need to go hunting for them. Autoplas still sell them, but I don't know if anyone else managed to nab a set from them other than me?

Cheers
