Now don't take this the wrong way, but if you'd spent a 1/10th of the cost of the Panda on having a garage repair the 340, and doing a little preventative maintainance, I think you'd have a reliable ride for the next few years without any of that evil depriciation. :wink: Anyhow, enjoy the Panda, and keep us informed of how you get on with getting the 340 back on the road. :)

I think we've found a new target for ridicule since SteveP got rid of his Peugoet :mrgreen:

Have you checked the idle solenoid on the carb to see if it is working?

what consumption do you get from the panda ? I would guess about 30 miles to the bamboo shoot would be good
