I spoke to the bloke who first got me into 340's and showed him your photos. He said he would buy the car for £500 if I rented a garage for it! Now it just so happens that I am going to spend a day or two in the Manchester area in mid-December, so one scenario would be that I might be able to pick-up the car on the way-back around 17th December, if you think it can do the journey back to Surrey. If you find a more generous buyer before then, that would, of course, be awesome, so please just see this as a fall-back position if all else fails!!

That's very kind of you and good to know, it would be great to keep her "in the family".
As a last resort you would have no problem getting to Surrey. Indeed, she is our preference when travelling long distance to South Devon and we have never been let down.

Awesome Bog. This definitely needed saving from the drift yobs!!

Been at the welder since July - he was just about happy with 4 grand which is a lot but the bodywork is basically a new car now - and it has EPS. Just needs a bit more spraying-up with aerosols (sorry paint purists) and it'll look pretty good by the spring. Currently trying to bail-out my current account ;-0

Ho ho ho, the colour is quite topical, too. He resprayed both front wings and seems to have done something to the bonnet, too - maybe a quick coat of paint but the rest is original. Snowed into inactivity today.

Going back to the welder to have some of my shoddy painting replaced with a proper spray-job
