I think if painting the door surrounds, I'd go for matt black rather than gloss black.

Some 300s have a black vinyl sticker between the windows, that texture would be good!!

Yeah I agree it'd look good - I don't know how you could get that kind of texture though - its plastic stuff stuck onto the window frames originally.

I'm sure a god vinyl place would do it, its like the retro vinyl roofs isnt it?

I bought (well it hasn't arrived and I haven't paid it yet but it's a "closed deal" ) sunroof wind deflector. Hopefully it'll reduce the wind noice at speeds above 100km/h.

Damn you! I wouldn't mind one of them actually. I was looking at cars that have them with similarly sized sunroofs but haven't seen anything of much use so far. My sunroof is fairly quiet though- so it's no longer the main source of windnoise! Sure to help though!
