Not if you size the turbo correctly ;)

200bhp is relatively easy to obtain with this engine - the 480 guys have been doing it for ages, and Husky has done the same (albeit by a different route).

cheers

The throttle body would sit in the area of the circle(if you can call it that)

You will also have to get some pipe work on or a filter in the areqa aswell. It will involve removing the heater box.

It's funny because in my 340 the heater box is in opposite position of that one, so probably it will not be necessary to remove it :)

hi Dai.

is that pic of your 2.0 340? I see the air intake is from the front of the engine bay but whats the setup where the carb normally is?

look forward to hearing from you

cheers

Dai runs an LPG throttle body. As he runs LPG only.

It is a throttle body off a mechanical injection 240. At the time I could not get a mixer to work on the 340 carb so I made an adaptor plate to take the throttle body and use a str ring mixer. The elbo on top is from a 760 turbo and the pipe is off a 240 air intake.
The thinks I have to bodge
Looks like I have a manifold collection trip.
