Actually, if you go to
www.birminghamitsnotshit.co.uk you can read about a trip to the beach under Spaghetti Junction. Also a fine selection of other Brum-based treats

LOL, I'd seen that elsewhere actually, on a site of the person who made it. Excellent video, worth a look.
Well, as appealling as the beach in Brum is,

I think we need other suggestions! Chris was mentioning Beaulieu, which has been suggested in the past, but I think it was decided it was expensive, and a bit far for some members. There is alway going to be the problem that some people are going to have to travel a long way, but this is never going to be avoided, we're spread all over the UK. If we rotate meets around the country as much as possible, we should be able to create at least one meet out of them all close to each member. Personally, travelling long distances don't bother me, so I'm open to any suggestions for the location of the next meet.

Or cry as his fuel consumption is better!? If it's all expenses paid mate, every other person drive a 300 over, and then the others can bring them back! A road trip has been mentioned, but I think that'd be a bit far for us at the moment!
I'm tempted to say the Lake District, purely because it's such a nice place, and I want an excuse to go back there! Some.......interesting roads around there too. Maybe we could fill the boat with Volvo's for the crossing to Hawkshead (think that's where it was!). That'd be a sight.

i'd love to see you try to drive the entire way (driving back and forth on a boat, plane etc doesnt count).
i might make the trip sometime next year, see my family. tickets can be cheap at times, my wifes boss went back last time for about 90 (insert pound symbol).
