I was scoping out my new house yesterday - my parents are in the process of moving to a village near Saffron Walden, Essex - and in the driveway across the road I spied a canary yellow 300! Most of it was obscured by hedge, to the extent that I couldn't even say for sure what age / mark it was. But once I'm fully moved in I'll have to investigate further! Their garden also appeared to be full of old VW beetles and associated parts...

300's and beetles!! my type of garden
I saw a 340 Gl recently - the only one in weeks and sadly I paced him all the way down the M62 to Rochdale
The only other 360 I saw up here is the '87 GL I sold

I filled up Nessy next to a guy in an Aston Martin V8 Vantage with the X-pack (yes, one of the OLD ones) today. I told him his car was bad-ass, and he said my rims were pimp (or something like that!). Made me grin...a lot.
I'd like to think that BMW 318i drivers on the A1 have started to note that there's a fairly fast 360 around...

Also, my next door neighbour nearly had an epi when he saw the sidedrafts on the 360 the other week.
A few times now people have slowed down (or speeded up!) for a look at the cars...and I've had a few flashes / waves. Definitely achieving 'status', albeit slowly.
cheers
