Speed is not really a problem, you just need to add stepper motor and put needle to that axle, also logic to control it and there you go.

Then again, one could put pc to car and also get nice future display that makes windscreen to your display device, I saw ad of such thing somewhere, Any glass surface is ok, some foil it was.

Harder would be to make pedals and steering to disconnect from steering rack and throttle linkage easily so that you could turn switch or something like that to connect them back when you are really driving somewhere. Clutch and brake don't need to be disconnected, those would just make more real feeling, some guys have build pedals and used some master cylinder to add realistic feeling to it :lol:

Dang, knew I should have taken a pic.

You'd have loved a car we saw at the Haynes meet. It was a vauxhall astra max power thing, and the front seats rotated 180 degrees to face backwards, and there were sets of pedals and wheels for the driver and passenger and a tv to play computer games :)
