Can we start a list of parts various Volvo dealers claim they can't get, while others can. If we compile a long enough list, it should be heavy enough to do some damage when we smack the bastards over the head with it! :D

Ultimately, joking aside, I think it's a matter which deserves a complaint to Volvo HQ. I'll more than happily add it to my list of 'thoughts' regarding Volvo's parts supply policy for older models...

To be honest, I doubt they care about part supply for older cars. Not as if we make them much money or have any choice for parts! Its a shame but thats life.

I am not sure - my part manager at Volvo knows me by voice on the phone - and he is amazingly helpful. Even when a part was unavailable he found someone who would make it for me :D

Must be just the volvo area dealers. Too busy charging £110 an hour for servicing ;)
