First: The B122E is written on the Engine. I can read from this number, that engine is from 1985.
There is sth like that B122E(sth more)1985
I can't see now, cause it's dark, but I will see tomorrow. It's written under some red paint or sth like that coming out from the engine block.
Second: It's possible, that this is a 360 GLT car, cause the inside is from a GLT model.
Funny if the car is registered as a common 1.4 It's not surprising then the "strange - wrong" engine code, maybe the job of the previous owner? (for lower taxes?)
But please, put the genuine front bumper on it! Two side indicators are enough! loll
The front wing on the right has been resprayed...
The owner with the girlfriend on the pics?
Collection: '78 343 Black Beauty, '82 345 GLS, '83 340 DL 2.0, '84 340 DL vario, '88 360 GLT 5d (2x) & 4d (2x), '89 GLT, '91 340 vario Dad's cars: '87 340 vario, '89 340 vario
Lot of donors cars and parts... V3M for life!
No, I'm not on those pictures. (Only a V-hand is mine there)
The girl and a boy are a very good friends of mine.
I'm kind of... happy, cause its a GLT...
The front wng on the right has been resprayed...
I see that too.
I think that the car was crashed from the front, therefore the front is a 343 (it has been welded)... - that says the serial number!!
And the rest is from a original 360 GLT. Am I right?
Definitely looks like a GLT to me, even down to the side rubbing strips.
That looks quite nice actually! But a weird mixture of cars there, mk2 car with a mk3 bumper and rear lights as well.. and what is that rear spoiler off I wonder Looks very good condition for its age apart from the wing that Duvel mentioned. What year is the car? It looks like '82-'83 to me with them quarter light windows.
I'm still intrigued by this B122 business. B200 is cast into the side of the B200 block, but not the 'E'. I think you might be reading some other designation. The engine code is usually given on the cambelt cover.
