Out of interest, why are you scrapping tulip after the work put in? You obviously have the capabilities of doing and engine swap as it's been done before Sometimes, its a case of 'better the devil you know'.....

Hi steve, everythings come at once, the mot is due (well past!) I need a bit welding done, there are alot of electrical gremlins at the mo, and no interior lights, the battery keeps draining, the windscreen leaks. I think a change is better than spending the money on repairs, although everybit I can will be taken from tulip and put onto the new car!
