Filmed in city where I used to live, road is not smooth, at 140kph car is very restless as there is so big bumps. This one was busted too as there was only few of such motorcycles in Finland on that time and only one in that area.

edit: Because of this kind of driving we have stupid limits and laws in first place, even some may find it nice to blast along eventually it comes to what it will effect in larger scale. Those sheeps (majority of people the non thinking part) will ask about getting lower speed limits / tighter speed control because bikes/cars go so fast or something else as stupid. Well they do that even granny drives 10mph under limit and manages to drive over some kid, but that we can't much.

I drive quick(ish) but at a speed that is within the capabilities of the car, driver and road conditions and certainly not as irresponsibly as that!!

^^ thats true, but sometimes you cant resist the temptation to put your foot down when theres nothing around with a clear straight road ahead and its the middle of the night and the next thing you know, youre doing 3 times the limit

I CAN'T, the current state of my car is that its doing 22mpg and it would have trouble pulling a greased stick out of a pigs a***.

I'm looking at taking it off the road for 12months and tidyin the old girl up cos i'm doing 30miles a day in a car that, while roadworthy could go pop v.soon without attention

Sounds like you need alternative transport. I just happen to know of a nice 360GLE for sale....

I think those people are crasy. I am not a normal driver myself, but this is just stupid.

OK i do understand that each one of us has "hit the gas" day, but I'd rather go on some open space with nobody around, and get a plenty of speed and drifting. Like that there is no danger of hitting smb except yourself, but you want the speed, be prepared for unexpected...like to finish in hospital.

Youngsters, who's "dad bought them a fast, pimp car for their 18th birthday" do drive fast, and much below speed limits. Reason why are many accidents on the road nowadays.

And i think modern PC games also have influence for that.

What is the point of driving fast? Show off?
Just to get quicker at the aim ? ( there are exceptions and i allow them ) Well if you go a bit earlier, you'll get on time..no rush, no panic.

Yes and speed limits are crazy too...here are so low that it would take you 2-3 days to pass contry if you obey the limits.

About 10 hours actual driving if I remember correctly We never did figure out what the speed limits in Hungary were though.... We did Brno in CZ to somewhere just after Belgrade in a long day, then there to Borovets in Bulgaria in a shorter one.

I have no idea what the speed limits were in Hungry. I thought I was doing abuot 10-15mph over them, and kept getting overtaken. No way were they what everyone was actually doing though...

You were probably going on the motorway...You were lucky. In central Serbia, speed limits are quite low. If there is just one house in the middle of nowhere, they put sign 40 km/h...and believe me there are plenty of those around.

I do remember when we travelled to Ulcinj ( the Southeast place in Montenegro and ex Serbia & Montenegro ) my dad was overtaken even he drove above speed limits constantly, and yet ( we have to stop on few places as we took our dog with us. It was a bit difficult for the one who was behind with him.....and guess who was ) we got there after 12-14 hours.

It would probably be 18-20 hours to pass around 600 km if we "respected" speed limits. ( Notice- from garage in Belgrade to garage in Ulcinj is about 612 km )

Ivan, I think blaming computer games is unfair.

Reckless drivers will always drive stupidly. Personally I love racing games, but ask anyone that knows my driving (in real life), and they'll tell you I drive like a grandad!

Although racing games may give people a false sence of security in their driving skills, due to all the racing I've done, I think that if my car goes out of control in real life, like the tail spins out on ice, I have a better chance of saving it. Applying opposite lock is an instinct due to racing games, but if it wern't for them, I'd more likely freeze, or panic and hit the brakes.

That depends from person to person right ?
But you can't compare computer games with real life. You can't compare car and their abilities on computer and real car. Even if you have PC wheel, pedals and gearbox, it's not the same. Can't feel as if you're there, can't feel the space or anything around you, and do not feel g-force while spinning, as well as fear that will strike at the very moment.

At least you can't get injured and you do not need to repair damages from those cars with real money do you ?

I agree there is some possibility to get some skills while playing games, but you will not act the same in PC game and real life.
The fact is, you know that you won't crash in real, won't be arrested, go to hospital...etc.. and you can start all over again.

The instinct you have and earned is dye to the car you're driving for some time. You have the feeling of it's high, weight, wide and it's advantages and disadvantages. It doesn't matter what your car looks like, how old are they it's what can you do with them, and that you can achieve only when you know them well.

I do agree that reckless drivers will be "killers on the road" but even aces makes mistakes...who don't.

Ivan, you certainly have not tested real simulators, like Live for Speed or rFactor?

It is remarkably good what those give you and also my mod to rFactor will have fear factor as if you crash car really will get damaged easily like real.

With properly set wheel and simconmotion or similar experience is truly frightening and I can say that from Live For Speed I have learned lot of things that have saved me crashing many times IRL.

Sure there is plenty of crap like need for speed and gran tourismo etc around, but selling those should be criminalized because of unrealistic safe feeling, laws should be made that if something like fast racing on road is simulated it should contain real damage so people will see how damn fragile cars are for example.

But I think that normal human being don't let games affect to their real life decisions (school shooters for example) or if that is so, then that person should be put to mental hospital or something and it should be examined what parents have done to get kid raised so twisted and if there is other kids they should be saved from those incapable parents.

Here at least there is no big issue with youngster driving badly, grannies and grandpas are much bigger issue and real problem as their ability to drive car does not exists no more, they drive under limit but still causing more damage and risk of injuries or deaths and any of those few stupid kids.

There should not be any driver on road that makes bad decisions based to feeling or gets angry on traffic, no any driver that has no skill or ability to control car and no any driver that plays on public roads.
