Carl, yeah, somewhere around that is good for me if the other chap isn't interested. As I say, use me as a backup plan, I'm in no hurry and I'm a tad busy at the moment too! And Ronnie hasn't posted since, so let him have first dibs if he's keen!

Yeah..... I've got a Ford Probe, 24 valve V6. Not really a secret. more something I've not shouted about! :P TBH it's not a bad car, mainly due to it being one of the last made, so most of the probelems were sorted by then. It's just a run about really, something fairly quick, damn comfortable, but sadly FWD. If it was RWD it would be a brilliant car.

I've decided the 360 is getting a new downpipe, was going to wait, but it's split (typically on the topside where it's inaccessible!) and bodgery isn't the answer, it's lasted like that for about 6 months, and I've got hold of a PAS downpipe (Ta Chris for the heads up btw!) so I'll do that at some point.

I've not had time to rust protect any of the 300's before the winter, so I decided for the good of the 300's to let a Ford take the salt and winter crap instead! I got the 340 MOT'd the day before the Peak DIstrict meet and so it's roadworthy, but not keen on getting too much salt in it.

Anyway thread jack over........ yep, definitely interested Carl. I'll have to have a look into public transportation........ nasty thought, but see what rail links are like from here to down your way!

OK mate. I'll wait to here from Ronnie and we'll go from there!

I'm near mainline stations (Southampton Airport and Eastleigh) so it shouldn't be too hard to get here. There's also a possibility I could deliver, but if necessary we can sort that out later!

That means Mick doesn't have to do any of the hard work and still get his full asking price despite travel costs....

Carlos, I'd love to buy your car, and will almost certainly get myself an 850/S70 sometime this year, but I'm not ready yet, even with your bargain pricing. So please don't wait for me - flog it on to whoever will buy it!

lol well I said it was a plan ,

look at it this way

Carl gets rid of the volvo that he was going to swap for the valver anyway

it means Pete gets the volvo delivered to his door and we all know how busy Pete is

and er ok Carl gets to visit Thame and Milton Keynes
plus a nice car to drive home in
everyones a winner

(at least I didn't suggest Carl swap the Ovlov for Petes probe  )

I would be prepared to knock £50.00 off for him

1 coz ees a mate and
B coz hes doing the running around

Well Mick, that is very tempting indeed. But unfortunately I can't justify spending out on another car, especially the BX as it would just turn into another little project I was spending money/time on, which I'm trying to avoid as I want to concentrate on the SD1.

Plus if I did that I'd still be stuck with 3 cars. By selling the T5 I get cash in my pocket and finally get back down to 2 cars. Not quite the way I planned it admittadly, but I'd be back in a 360 for a while which has got to be a good thing!!

Besides Mick, if I'm going to down grade to something slower I may as well upgrade back to RWD ;)

Ok Carl, well, sounds like most people are decided then, just the VOC guy to confirm? I must be as mad as a box of bees really! Nearing a vehicle for everyday of the week on the road at the moment, oh well, choice is never a bad thing! Let me know when he decides, cheers!
