That was a good day

I'd have been in around 9:00 ish, but got diverted to a pub on the way home, then been white roading with a shogun. If those of you there thought Fake was muddy earlier....
Thanks for a great day all, really enjoyed it.

Andy took all the pictures for the day, though half on my memory card as he'd run out

I'll chuck some up when I get back, he's got some good ones of how to abuse a Mk1

Right, just been looking at the last half of pics and...
Andy learns quick

I was getting him to do some panning shots of your's and my car Foggy, and he's done a great job. If he doesn't mind I'll be getting a few big ones run out (boots 15"x10" are £2.49, and look awesome) and be buying some frames
I'll be back tomorrow, and try and get some put up.

OKOK stop yer nagging.
Firstly twas a great meet, although really crappy weather, it meant for a nice slippery track when you two hooligans decided to hoon round the track. I wimped out, turns out luckily for me, cos my waterpump bearing was looking decidedly second hand by the time I got home and the pump needed changing straight away before it died completely
Anyhoo, there were three cars in the BKV, guess which car came third

Congrats to Foggy and Chris for their prizes on the day:)
Pictars...there are many but I've picked a couple of the best
Chris in Fake
With some motion blur that Chris showed me how to get.
James in his Mk1
With some motion blur.
Lovin' the gangsta 300 lean
A couple of other guys also went round the track including several different fairly modern FWD cars all owned by the same guy...go figure.....there was a race prepped 144 and a very smart looking Amazon too. They don't seem, somehow to have the roll of a 300.
The 144...ignore the smoke officer
The Amazon

That 144 has a fair amount of rally history, John Griffiths does historic's with it, think he's done ~30 with that which is a great effort. I've a feeling the amazon does some of the VOC motorsport challenge stuff, but I'm not sure.
One day I'll get my suspension sorted

Ta for taking those pics mate, as you can tell I'm super chuffed!

Aye phwoar at James's mk1 there. Looks a lot nicer than the last time I saw it. And you've done exactly what I wanted to do with some leo rims.
