The speedometer end of the speedo cable is also different on pre 85 (84?) cars due to the Smiths dash ...Ronnie wrote:340, 360, same difference - they changed the road wheel end of the cable in about 1987 (I think).

Bridges scrap yard, i.e Pease Pottage had two 340's at the weekend, one definately had a speedo cable on it, coz i was gona have it as a spare, but couldn't be arsed tbh.
