Well, lots of DAFs have arrived and are still here, and are getting very wet. But people seem happy!
I've put a few snaps of some of the cars so far on the DAF OC website under the "50 Years of Variomatic" tab.
Met James the other day, who went off with one of the driving test prizes! And Wouter Antiek Radio seems to be having a good time with his Variomatic 343 and caravan.

I did indeed make it to the event. Massive thanks to Alex, Richard and everyone at the event for making me so welcome. Apologies for pilfering one of the autotest prizes!
I have various pics, but sadly I've been very short of time this week. They will appear (hopefully along with the video footage of the autotest!) soon...

due to a slow PC (old laptop) conversion of the HD-movies from the camera (AVCHD format) to straightforward MPEG takes loads of time on this PC.
As we speak I am transferring the files to a faster PC but the wifi is slow, too... we just have to wait some more
