Hi Foggy, i was just wondering if you had any more info on the fuel flow device used on the computer? I have just fitted the comp to my 340 knowing the fuel flow device wasnt there. SO i can as you know only use the speed and distance functions. The comp i installed was originally fitted to an injection model from new but was taken off after a few months as it became faulty. The fault was traced to the control box measuring the injectors. And so my uncle found it the other day and gave it to me. Hope you can help.

Re: Driving Computer / Cash Register Installed!
Just been reading the old posts re taxi meter fitting now that I have one
I bet he never realized how relevant that last statement would become in later life lolfoggyjames wrote:

You lot presumably all know what this thing is all about! You can probably guess what it can tell you from the buttons..
.shame 'range' isn't there - all you'd need to know is the size of the tank.

I got range
Mick, if you want, I might be able to give you some pointers fitting wise on Tues, but I'm sure Foggy and Adam will know exactly. I am dead keen to see what the fuel flow sender looks like, even though I'll now be putting mine onto an injection engine, it'll be useful if I'm going to make a how to.

Is there no manual with it Mick??? I can prob dig out the instuctions for ya!!!
Basically you can do a couple of things in preparation for fitment!!!
Fit speed sensor to diff casing and fit flow sensor on a bracket under bonnet somewhere. You can mount fuel lines to this too as it doesnt restrict fuel flow. On the sensor earth the green cable. From memory there is an orange and white wire also on it, they go to same colour wires on comp loom.
Also on the comp loom you have to tap it into the ignition live and put a spade to the back of the dash lighting dimmer and connect two wires to the sensor!!!
I think thats about it!!! I did it all in about 2hours when i orignally did mine!!!
Cheers Adam
