Hi Aymat, Long time no speak with.

Would this be the 'boot protection' you're looking for - found in the Macs store of improbably surviving 300 bits! ???

It's well used - but I would imagine almost extinct as a species. If you're interested you're welcome to it for whatever it costs to get it to you.

Duvel78 wrote:What do you really miss on your 300? I'm talking here about the genuine accessories.

My christmas list is:

- sport steering wheel
- genuine radio amplificator
- plastic sunroof
- protection for the boot
- dog guard (even if there will NEVER be a dog in my 300s :D )
- adaptative rear suspension
- genuine baby seat :D :D
The baby seat? Sooooo dangerous! No offspring of mine is travelling in that 80's shite ;-) I thought about the dog guard once too, good when travelling with the boot filled to the roof with no parcel shelf. There is some stuff that I'm not too fussed with either, spare fuel can holder, and mudflaps for example ...

Ride-levelling, front spots and 80's radio with amp will hopefully be fitted soon ;-)

Really high on my wanted list is air con. Although I am not too fussed about the originality of it, as long it works and the button is correct ;-)

I would love this GT steering wheel:

and the pad for the Momo (R-Sport) one as it's missing from mine.

The early VDO econometer would be nice:

Did you see the variable intermittent wash-wipe on Ebay Aymat? 50 Euros, wow ...

<edit>
I just noticed all those smilies next to "baby seat". Are you telling us something? ;-)

That's a GL-steering wheel, and I know somebody who has one...Shall I ask for you?

Volvo also did a kind of plastic boot tray as well IIRC ...

Good to hear from you again, mac ;-)

Thats the one I have, most useful.

Yep they certainly did a plastic tray (as they did for 200/400/700/800s).

The one above is for important people who don't actually put anything dirty in their boot! (you'll see from it's condition that I wasn't important enough).

Hi Tom - been a bit absent of late (got a bit tied up with the VOC for one thing - and we also managed a holiday (usual pilgrimage to Guernsey) - discovered lots of 300s on Alderney).

Hope all is well with you.

Mac.

:-)

I committed this act of sacrilege once:

"Boot protection" was a green tarpaulin, nevertheless I spent quite a while hoovering afterwards ;-)

EDIT:
Chris_C wrote:Ohhh, never seen those late types, what catalogue are they in Tom?
There's one in the right of the above picture, Chris ...

Ermm, YES, it's that one I'm looking for!!!!! You STILL have nice parts, hidden in your house / garage! :D Keep it for me, please!! :D
MJ wrote:There's a dog guard on ebay at the mo if you want one.
True, but if I'm not wrong it's not the first time that I see that auction on Ebay :? Problem with it? Missing parts?

I`ve got one of these - not as good as the hard plastic IMO, but it does stop all the "just in case" stuff sliding around !

There are a set of Ride-Levellers on sale in Holland at the moment ... Just the shocks though, not all the other bits and pieces.
J340GLT wrote:Oh yeah and what is the plastic Sunroof you are referring to??
He means the glass sunroof ;-)
