Should be plenty about,I always come across them in Oz when i'm searching for Bronco bits.

Failing that any spring manufacturing/engineering shop should be able to make something on those lines.

Perhaps? Width is one I doubt a bit, but that is easy to measure from car too

Thanks very much to you as well, now we have measurements to go on we can get started with the looking.

Just a bit of an update...

We took the car to the suspension place yesterday and were quoted $500 to take the springs out, put through the furnace, belt with a fbh (large hammer) and re-fit. After I picked my jaw up off the ground, we left the car for them to fix, it'll be ready to collect in a day or two. Will let you all know how it goes.

That is ~235 in rightsideup land's money (one that has queen in their money).

New spec made springs are perhaps 100ish? Fuse did ask prices from one place quite some time ago, but can't remember what was their quote, installing springs will cost some too unless one has possibility to replace them at home.

But we must remember we are talking from upsidedown land where price to pay for work probably increases when job gets easier and faster
Whiteline is in there, they did make swaybar and some springs to 360, but don't know what is available today.

I was looking at 150-200 to have springs made, and thats without labour to remove/refit. Doesn't sound silly to me.

Another update...

We went and picked up the car today and there's a HUGE difference now. (I'll post some pics tomorrow). My hubby drove the 2 hours home and said that you can really notice the difference in the ride. The guy (who is actually a qualified Blacksmith - not too many of those over here), asked if my daughter was the one paying for it, when told she was he said well in that case just $450 ozzie dollars. My daughter hasn't seen the car yet but I think she's going to love it now it's got it's tail stuck up in the air, like a happy little duck!

p.s. New springs are no longer available at the dealers here.

225 Euros for that amount of work - sounds like a bargain to me! Any plans for the front springs?

The front springs seem to be fine, they hold the front end up nicely, don't give a bad ride and stand up to our "lovely" roads very well.

Australian front springs have their very own Volvo part number, I guess you got the "heavy duty" version down under

Yep, not too bad for all that work and nice discount too

I visited to local french fwd crap stealership to get adapter for antenna (yep, those are weird too in french fwd crap cars), so there I saw leaf springs meant to be used in trailer of some sort, anyway measuring by eye those did look quite good for additional springs to 360 too.

Something bit stiffer to rear should be helpful for my car too, it has quite soft rear suspension. I remember when I replaced 240 rear springs that handling did change quite a bit to better direction, it stopped plowing straight in slippery conditions.

Fitting Ride-Level(l)ers might have been an option too, but your way is definitely simpler and probably cheaper.
