how did u raise the bonnet on your car i was trying to figure it out and ran out of patience at oulton park i just wanted to drift lol

Thats been discussed at length before man.
Opening the bonnet doesn't let more air in. It robs the car of the normal directed air cooling.
At least that was the consensus of people in the know. I just noted the conclusion. Which was running with a popped bonnet makes you look like a drifter in a 300, but it doesn't do you any good.
Shoot me down if I'm wrong kids. I sometimes am.
Big electric fan on a plain old switch ftw?

open the bonnet,then while the backs still up,push down hard on the very front and it locks with the back up!safe and a cool look

Bending the bonnet, or putting huge amounts of stress on the catch... genius :roll:

As Ben says, it just creates a stall effect, so actually negating cooling.

when it rains you're probably going to channel water straight into your heater system too? Which is not good.
So I suppose it's not really advisable day to day.
Pop it if you want to look cool on the track, but it's counterproductive.
More show, less go.
