Yes it is very much of fun, there is pain, more pain and then warm relaxed feeling afterwards, that is what makes finnish rally drivers so good, being tense is not good in rally

One nice ritual is also to open hole into frozen lake, go into sauna and then jump into that hole which has started ice again so you need to be careful not to cut yourself into pieces of ice, then you swim there until you can't feel your limbs, get up and then it is that true cold and pain hits you, very nice effect when there is -15C and bit of wind. Of course quickly run into sauna where is very hot, your skin is very cold, more pain, weaklings pass out at this point. This is then repeated several times, very good feeling afterwards.

At this time of year it is not possible to experience all this, but there will be winter soon enough, I recommend visiting Finland at winter we then can give you good sauna experience, who is first, Chris? :D

All rallying/racing finns are nice guys

That reminds me, best thing to see in Sweden is Finland across to bay

One can try to get sisu from these:

But they don't have finnish fighting spirit in them (sisu)

And some might think I was joking with that hole in frozen lake:

But then again, our football differs from british version  :

Some of such activity is available in Sweden too, worth to test, gives memories of lifetime.

That film is a classic, particularly the interview with Mika Häkkinen :-) Somewhere at 5 mins 30 secs ...

Holidays in Sweden??

Great country, I worked there 6 or 7 years ago on the Surplus BV206 stock for the FMV. How about visiting the Volvo museum in Gothemburg (terrible spelling i know..)
Get to Stockholm if you can, I loved the Vasa......

I also hired an S40. LIked it alot, but not so much as the V70 I hired after, Taking a road trip from one end of Sweden to the other with my swedish girlfriend is something i'll remember forever - although notsomuch these days - being married and all :)

Stig-Olov Walfridson
Telefon: 054-775 41 45
Adress: Box 5114

He might know how to contact Lars-Erik that is his brother and owner of that 363CS and museum if I did read correctly that information I found. Stig-Olov is rally driver so he probably can talk at least rally driver english
