(To Dan340) Hey dude-Sleeper Goodness FTW! It much more satisfying to beat people in new cars in a stock 'looking' 300 than in one thats been buggered-plus tbh you might get fed up of bieng pulled over all the time tbh

She looks awesome-maybe just uprate the suspension (lower) and maybe the wheel/tyres (incidently dont throw the old parts way-theres an offer section here which you can sell certain things)

Have lots of fun with her-keep the 'tramp down' idea for more common cars though-these are getting rare :( Doesnt mean you ca :340: sm6 nt embarrass some people @ the lights though eh ;-) oh yeh 16v goodness (thts an idea)

Good ones are indeed rare, but there are plenty of hopeless rust buckets to tramp on, some member might even know good rustbucket to swap that mint condition car to and everyone would get their fun :D

For what my comment's worth, I would agree that that car looks super as it is and there are not that many left now that look so good in their original form. Once modified, that will be it.

Still, it's his car and in a free world, can do whatever he likes - but it's not something I would do personally.

Maybe as has been suggested, some subtle tweaks if you feel the need but nothing radical - it'd be a shame to lose another one this way.

Dan340, again i'd like to appologise as i had been down the pub yesterday, had a few drinks it was silly time in the morning (my post time was gone 2am) and i think i may have been a bit harsh

I'll stand by my comment that i don't like to see nice cars getting "the treatment", but as has been pointed out at the end of the day it is your car and you can do with it as you like. I hope i've not driven you away from the site as we a good bunch really (honest) and the technical knowledge possesed within will surely help you out.

To an extent i'm guilty aswell as i've had the 2.0 16v fitted to mine already but i've left it standard on the outside bar the wheels and lowering but thats MY personal prefferance not yours

Like i say i hope you do stick around as 300's are getting fairly rare anyway in mint or tramper form so we need to club together :D

hahaha guys how do you get automaticly emailed when someone writes in your thread ?? im gonna keep her exactly how she is !!!! maybe a respray in same color or kinda like white even red lol, but ye mods are going to be suspension and handeling stuff like that, i want her stiff and low to the ground, no way am i going to strip her !! might put nicer front seats in, like some factory volvo seats from a more sports model, when i said tramp her i ment go round in a circle and at roundabouts not wreck her on the track, as i think they look lovely, few very subtle exterior and interior mods will be done to make her my own, but she will be well looked after for sure dont worry lol and im prob gonna drop a 1.8 16v engine in her one of the renault ones and maybe bike carbs for more power, deadly sleeper potential. havent had a chance to look around the site just yet, but if you no of anywhere that sells performance parts please post up a link or pm me any info and tips on stuff. thanks lads
