try insuring with admiral or bell, put it in your name and add both of your parents as named drivers.
im 20 and i pay £598 and i have 2 no fault claims so should be about £500 without, thats for a 360 GLT 2.0. you should comfortable be able to insure a 1.7 for £800 or less depending on where your keeping. prices have gone up a bit coss of all the accidents in the snow

yer i have 2 claims 1 no fault and 1 fault so bmw 4x4 driver (noo offensive language needed because we all know what they are like) did an injury claim and one there was no damage to his car at all squashed mine a bit but its made of cheap spanish influenza cells so no surprise there
i may have to do that only problem is i live 6 hours away from my parents lol we will see hopefully getting well paid job for the summer plus month either side so that would easily cover the cost of car and giggles and goodies

last year when I was 19 got insured with admiral on a 340 1.4 was £400 thats with both my parents on (didnt have any ncb but had no claims against me either) you can get a 1.4 sideways in the dry but you really need to try and it wont hold it for long, but is mega fun trying
thanks James
