Pity I didn't get a pic of the "CVT Control" in the centre console. I asked Jockel about it on the phone last night - apparently it's a kind of launch control with which he can adjust the vaccuum manually, meaning if needs be he can hold the engine at maximum revs as long as he likes. It's a pity they arrived late, missing the start of the filming, which meant they couldn't use the car for "continuity reasons".

The car has a B14 V343 engine in it, along with the "launch control" it would have beaten the Corvette by a much greater margin

Funny, I took it all as a great laugh to begin with, but got very competitive towards the end

Thanks, Pete I've just updated the video - a guy from the Daf Club Germany complained that I was showing too much before the "official" TV start so I removed it from YouTube, but I've put it back up temporarily ...
