It broke all on its own Twas missing a clamp in the rear end of the shaft
Anyways I managed to get one from Lytham (jumpleadsvolvo) yesterday for £35 Well chuffed Thought I would have had to import one from Sweden via a Volvo dealer for £250

Hey Anne, in the meantime it'd be worth getting a multimeter on your current one to check it's resistance values if you havn't already?
