I'm doing a service on monday, I'll photo my carb - it's a tiny bit untidy but everything is in the right place and my engine does run good.

maybe he will tear out the sensors, distributor and wiring if you ask? and even the carb if it turns out to be too bad to fix?

the pics and manual are in your email, not excellent I know but the blow up diagram of the carb is pretty good, I reckon you can rebuild from that.
theres some pics of the renix and the 'simple' dizzy in place - I reckon you could use your existing distributor with a renix, just whip the cam and points out of it - renix with crank sensor (if you haven't got the sensor) should be able to get cheap, just hunt (not too hard to find)
and it looks like your anti run solenoid has a snapped off spade connector.
