aye its nice like. Have you sorted a horn out? I'm thinking i can use the origional horn ring / self cancelling indicator bit. Just cut the clips off and make the hole a tad bigger and it should work. Then i'd need to drill a hole in the boss to fit the wires through.

Yeah I had the kit but didn't like the look of it. Prefer the raw look of just the bolt in the middle. That's my horn underneath, the red button. Passed an MOT like that too.

aye i've rigged up a toggle on crocodile clips to the contacts as a temp fix but want something more permanent and OEM looking, think i might make my own centre as the one i have off another wheel is a bit naff.

Little update

-Car is going to have its wheel bearing and 2 studs changed by an old bloke locally who is apparently really good and, more importantly, cheap :)
-Modifyed horn ring and boss so i now have a proper horn and self cancelling indicators
-found a centre for the wheel and added horn button)
-Started making another, quieter exhaust
-V3M stickers thanks to VND :)

Cheers, although being the previous owner of both, you may be slightly biased

Think the plan for the rest of the summer is to get the rust chopped away and replaced, get the steering seen to, rear bumper could do with a respray and i'm fancying some proper dampers for the back and by proper i mean something like the adjustables Dai does. :)

All money dependant though

Got some tyres swapped today:
NSR wheel was bent so the tyre came off that onto the new leo
OSR tyre had a bulge so swapped that with a brand new one i had kicking about
Took it up the petrol station put some juice n the car and 35psi in the rear tyres and 30 in the fronts - bit of fuel efficiency :)

Then went over to see Mattywatsit's GLT
'tis rather nice and not too much rust for its age! plus no sunroof makes it even better IMO. bit of painting still to do on it but is looking good!

Off colour 'new' leo EDIT you can't actually tell (who said cameras don't lie?):

Ok so am back from my trip to Kielder :)

Had a great time such a nice place. Was a bit over enthusiastic on a gravel track and scared us all to death, no damage to the car apart from a creaking noise from the front suspension thats got a tad worse and one of the cableties holding the undertray on has snapped. Car managed fine all the way and i hit 60K :D

Here's a couple of photos:

Also got a new headunit that has USB, SD etc. etc. Plus my old Edge sub has found it's way back into the car as a result

Starting to make a list of things i want done y the end of the year too :D and started saving up for them

Thanks for looking,
Matt

GSF used to sell them - probably still do. Make sure you get the ones designed for a boot spoiler, there are two different types :)
