Hmm, Lion of Scotland, but background is all wrong for it to be one pound coin, can't really tell what that is, necklage?
I guess second one being five pounds, you probably would not have tenner in pocket
Very impressive macro shots
First I thought that laser thing was screen saver

Yeah, RS200's were designed as a works car, and really need a works team to run them
First is a coin, but isn't a pound, tis the new style 2p. Note actually is a tenner, I was as surprised as you to find one in the wallet, I'd have normally spent it by now

New style 2p ? Hmm, I think I have not seen such before, nice

I see they put them into circulation last summer.
It is very rare to handle cash these days, only once in a year I have some cash as tax refunds come, but I guess that is going to be soon history as there has been plans of forcing people to use electronic transfer so that does stop cash handling for me. Oh yes with exception of getting parts to Pontiac, local GM garage accepts only cold hard cash
One of my older pics, that I fixed a bit

Imagine how it is drive such truck on those roads and how about winter time, when road is even narrower and there are some really tight bends too

I managed to take bit better pic of M42 now, still I need more practise though and those damn street lamps should be turned off...

I did an attempt at drive by shooting, but I always shake it
That is perhaps best so far.
It might be bit easier before sun has set down, but work keeps me too busy by then

Got me worried for a minute

I'd imagine it'd be much easier with more light as you could use a quicker shutter speed, but then the taget would have to be going faster, and then you might shake more

Panning shots I find easier by setting to shutter priority, burst mode and constant focusing, then aim at a part (either headlamp or doorhandle depending on angle I want) then start moving the camera, squeeze and hold the shutter, and let of shutter then stop moving. As you get better, you can reduce the amount of shots you take, and get out of a burst. My first lot were 1 in 5, then I used Andy's IS lens and got 2 in 3, then went back to my non IS lenses and can get 4 in 5 now. Just practice at randoms out your window!
Other super easy way is out of a moving car, I sit in the back of someones car, wind down window, and get 2 people to match speeds.... insta panning pimp for less effort.

That was best one with rapidfire and everything set on manual
Bit dim light conditions, so could not get 1/60, more like 1/10 and that came with largest aperture I believe.
I find it difficult to match speed of car, they accelerate when they come closer

But certainly practise makes better, when I started trying those shots no one would believed if would told them that there is a car in pic
Trucks are quite easy to take photos at as nearby road has plenty of them, like mushrooms at rain. Someone should do something about them, way too many infesting our roads.

One of my few attemps at a car panning shot taken back in 2007. I wasn't planning it at all, I just happened to have the camera in my hand on full auto mode (that could easily be misunderstood in terms of drive by shootings

) and spotted an approaching 2CV in pink so had to have a go.

MJ, that is not pink, it is faded red
I think shot is not that bad at all
