Oil cooler behind an enlarged foglight hole, perhaps?
Looking good bud!

Yeh i'm planning on running plastic inner arches or mudflap material. Its amazing how much extra travel that will give me.
I have a pair of yellow continental fogs so really dont want to mount it there. the front valance on LFE is absolutely mint aswell so dont want to cut into it.... hmmmm

I take it there's no AC going on this car, so how about above or in front of the IC? I know it gets a bit tight up front, mind you. The other option would be to down-size the cooler. The gaggle of 400bhp T5s only have tiny coolers. I don't know what your power goals are, but Russ' 600bhp one still doesn't have a massive cooler.

hahahaha, i know firsthand what you mean; annoying isn't it?
you could do it similar to what i've done and mount the radiator in the engine bay so there's place for an oilcooler inbetween the radiator and intercooler, that works very good and you should have enough space with the engine.
i wouldn't mount the oilcooler in front of the intercooler.. the intercoolers efficiency would reduce a fair bit!
I got all of the glass out of the car for proper welding to commence and my cat decided she needed a recharge whilst helping me.
I worked out how to mount my oil cooler, it was an idea i had a while ago and today i got the courage to hack the front panel to make it fit. Luckily i got it all finished before i ran out of welding gas.
I'm very happy with the result, i will have to run a small japenese reg plate but it should be fine. The fibreglass will need fettling when i come to paint it but i'm happy with it.
