proper simple nimminz. 4 screws for the whole light fixture, the glass is held on by press clips, prise those off with a screw driver, and hey presto, glass off, masking tape and spray :D Easy. proper cheap, and changes the whole look of the front end IMO.

Just be wary that since I did mine moisture won't stop leaking into one of my lights. But taking the rear cover off fixes that

Reflector comes out once you're inside. Don't forget to adjust it again once refitting!

so me and my dad just noticed my cars running on 3 cylinders! took of the cap wasnt damp, so the i started it up and took off each lead off one by one and noticed when i took it off number 1 nothing changed. so turned it off took out the plug and a bit of smoke or steam come out of the plug hole :? dad says hes never seen it happen before. i thought it could of been my head gasket on its way out and bit of water coming out. anyway put a new plug in and it seemed to be running alright (hopefully) so going to get set of plugs later and change them all over!!

Mk2 GLT boots are awesome, any decent vinyl place could do that neatly. There used to be a few cars on here that could measure it up too, would be good info to have.

Who has Ronnie's old car now? I seem to think it went to Scotland.

do it!

Wouldn't be hard, could almost DIY with those rolls of black fablon you can get from B&Q

You can download a free trial of photoshop from the Adobe website then buy it later. Have a google and you might find ways of getting it for less

(kds19.) Do you mean it stayed in Scotland, Chris? Only went from Inverness to Aberdeen.
