I think such link money thing is sick, ads I can understand, links to donations and places that offer good quality relevant stuff I can understand too, but to register on forums only to spam rather irrelevant stuff is something I really don't get, do those who pay from such really except to such methods pay back? If they do I fear even more of tomorrow...

Doesn't it just move the linked site up the Google rankings dude?

Technically it is against google ad rules, there are statements about spam and if they have google ads then they will loose them if spotted, but don't know if there is much punishment from search engine spoofing or if there would be clauses discriminating that, however certainly those methods can't work too well in gaining places at google search as every forum probably removes such spam quite quickly?
