I paid 180 for my louvre so thats fairly priced i'd say as there only getting rarer :) You can still buy the fitting kit for it too, as i've got a new for mine :) So no need for velcro

It's almost ideal. If you'd let me come up for a few days and transfer my running gear and engine into the shell and get it drivable, I'd be interested. But that is quite a major ask...

NP Theo, there is quite a queue forming though, so it won't hang around long. Cheers Tom - will read your PM properly today (was hard on my phone) and get back to you.

Speedy, I would be all for that, but it is as bare as a shell gets mate. It isn't going to be on the road any time soon, plus it deserves all new brake lines, refurbed running gear etc imo. So as others have said, it's a good way to hit the ground running with a new project for someone!

That's cool - I just wish it to go to someone who could use it

Why not organise a group trip? Hire a trailer to get it somewhere sensible to work on it, have a V3M weekend to bolt it all together?

Standard rules, Speedy provides pizza to all who spanner ;)

If the list of jobs is fleshed out beforehand, you can make sure all the required tools turn up and all the required parts are on hand (and have a "runner" grabbing bits that havn't been bought)

It's possible, let's see how my MOT goes today. It is money I don't really have too... I'll have more of a think about it.

Just to let you know I'm still on for the jig, when can it be collected and where from? I'm assuming it'll fit in a 300! If I were to buy the doors I'd come up in the transit, still just weighing up the door situation. Is the 16v head a sepatarate sale from the engine (assuming the engine still has the old head on?
