Seeing as how we drive Volvo's, we can use our fog lights because ALL our lights are "distinguished."

Just like the "Ladies" and "Gentlemen" who drive them sm70 sm70 sm75 sm54

I'm heading up to Brecon for the Gremlin rally this afternoon, apparently they've got over 6 inches there already, with more forecast...

And I'm going to be in a Peugeot, with no handbrake!

hope gremlin was ok!?
we just got back from Durham Dales ! was real bad in places with a few heart stopping moments and we passed a Scooby \o/  the last 30% of rally was rubbish though as we got stuck behind a mk2 escort and a nova for the whole time. no where to pass them and they didnt pull over.

175/70/13 maxsports were the order of the night ! glad we had them on for some sections, as fish tailing on a straight single track road in snow/ice at 60mph is a bit scarey. im having flashbacks of moments.

Nice! Sounds like you've got that GLT pretty damn competitive from the other posts. Wheels suit that car very well too! 8)

Ta Chris

That was fun! Most of Epynt and the Forests (Halfway and Crychan) were under 6 inches of snow, and many of the lanes were almost sheet ice!

After much argument at the start, a load of crews pulled out, as they thought it would be too dangerous, and eventually it started an hour later than intended, and with several chunks of route cut. We then saw a lot of other crews having trouble due to having the wrong tyres or car, and quite a few cars fell by the wayside as they gave up struggling on the slippery surfaces. We pressed on, and eventually finished 6th out of 115 entries, 65 starters and 48 finishers, a result we are very proud of (we'd gone up hoping for a top 30!)

The only damage to the car was the loss of the front splitter and wheelarch trim, at some point in Halfway forest.
