Cool, in which case I'll set the deadline of choosing for 48 hours from now, i.e. bed time thursday.

Saturday and Sunday requirements please, and which of teh two weekends suits as well as confirmation ;)

I'm in, prefer the weekend of the 13th/14th

Would prefer a Sunday of either weekend. But I'll cope with a saturday if that's what the majority want.

MR2 is done mate. She's purring like a kitten! Few niggly things to sort out, but they're gradually getting done! Whatever car I end up taking, you're of course welcome to a lift!

Err, are we talking about the Haynes or brum bbq here.

If we're taking about Haynes It'd be nice to go along, and I think I'm free, but I'll have to check a few things first.

Haynes... Griz just wanted to confuse things ;)

Though I'm up for the summer BBQ too... might be worth creating a new thread when things are getting organised Griz.

Yeah, that was mentioned and several people said they were up for it, and then I wasn't sure who was talking about what lol

Yep, been a tad busy, so missed the early stages of this thread! But yep, I'd like to go along and see what the Haynes museum of lies has to say for itself and if it's anything like it's book? Maybe we'll have a pictorial explanation of how to use things that are very simple, yet the important things we need to know like how to get there etc will not be explained just like the Volvo 300 Haynes! But if they've got a nice load of cars to look round it sounds good.

Jeez Pete, if that's how cynical and twisted you are at your tender age I hate to think what you'll be like when you get to my age.......

Definately keen to see it if it's like Stondon, some cool stuff there! Right, more Sundays so far, and only one date preferance...

Chris - Nick has just reminded its the Motor Club's Summer Scatter on the 14th, so cant do it then! The saturday or the previous weekend would be ok though.

Yup, Nick is currently shouting at me, and as I'm new commitee somehow, I won't get out of it ;)

I'm currently twisting Nicks arm, get him to come along the Sunday before, but it's his project deadline a few days later. I'll have a chat with Steve (or... if you read this first, are you ok with it Steve???)

But, currently looks like Sunday the 7th. Any objections, please come forward!!

7th is OK, would've preferred the 14th as I think I might be going to Scotland earlier that week.

LOL! Indeed, right cynical miserable git! Even at my age I've developed a very poor impression of many things in general from past experiences! At least it comes as a pleasant surprise when it's better than you expected and it takes more to be disappointed!

Expect low standards, you'll never be disappointed!
